History

“Pitangui” name was bestowed by Ivo Hélcio Jardim de Campos Pitanguy, he is the world-famous and a very well-known plastic surgeon based in Rio de Janeiro who was also the MD professor lecturer of the chairman of our hospital, Dr. Yoo Jae Sung while he was studying in Brazil.

In 1989, “Dr. Yoo Jae Sung” began using Dr. Pitangui’s name on our hospital’s name. In Pitangui, We aimed to ‘Help people live better’ following the standard of Pitangui that was delivered and aimed by Dr. Yoo Jae Sung, who continues dedicating his life to helping people live better in the beauty beyond confidence. In the other way, Dr. Yoo Jea Sung, Our President is focusing on The Well being - To Live Healthy NOT only live beautifully, Pitangui we’re operating the highest qualities. Moreover, we’re the centre of Kbeauty both aesthetic and plastic surgery facilities including the addition of a dermatology centre in 2000. Later, in 2004, we performed a dental clinic. From 2007 till the Present, Pitangui became the Medical & Beauty Centre. Pitangui treated well-known patients all around the world.
